While dancing you cannot help but express your current state of mind, if you are trying to be light and graceful while thinking ‘ I shouldn’t have eaten that pie for dinner last night’, chances are your gracefulness will be overridden by the gluttonous pie eating feelings, which will then be projected into your dance. Coaching can help with both ends of this situation. That you didn’t feel good about eating a pie for dinner and also that you were thinking of it when your focus should have been on dancing. Through coaching you can unlock what is preventing you from being totally present and focused on the moment, giving you the freedom to experience dancing as you wish to.
Having stage presence sets apart a great dancer from just a good dancer. Again this is something that comes from within you.
